When and how should I activate my Ghost Walk pass?
You can start your purchased time slot (24 hours) whenever it suits you. Just add the booking to your account and activate it when you are ready to head out and explore.
I press the “My position” button but nothing happens. What’s wrong?
This means that you have not enabled location sharing for the browser you are using (Chrome, Safari etc.) in your phone’s settings. Here’s how:
Iphone / iOS: Open Settings → Tap Privacy & Security → Tap Location Services and make sure it is On → Scroll down and tap your browser → Choose While Using the App (or Ask Next Time Or When I Share) and, if available, enable Precise Location.
(If it still does not work, also check inside the browser app: Settings → Site settings / Privacy → Location → allow for the specific website).
On Android: Open Settings → Tap Location and make sure it is On → Tap App permissions or App location permissions → Find and tap your browser → Select Allow only while using the app (or similar).
(If it still does not work, in the browser: Settings → Site settings → Location → make sure it is On, and that the website is allowed to use your location).
Is there an offline mode?
Not as of today. But we’ve compressed the files in order to be data friendly. Audio is generally easy to stream compared to for example video.
Well then, how much data will my experience consume?
Our average clip weighs around 2MB. Supporting pictures around 70kB. In an hour you might stream around ten clips if you’re quick around town. That’s around 21MB of data usage.
Is there an App Store / Google Play app?
No, simply for the reason that many we talked to were tired of downloading yet another app. So we created a click and go experience, straight in your default browser (which supports all necessary functions we need anyway). Would you prefer a downloadable app? Please let us know at info@trales.io.
What is true and what is fiction?
We’are not historians but we love history. Our stories are rooted in real events, places, and people. In many cases, they’ve been shaped and enhanced to create a more immersive, theatrical experience. As for the supernatural… we’ll let you decide. But like you, we’re open to the possibility.

What languages do you offer?
The Ghost Walk is currently available in English, Swedish and German, and our ambition is to support many more languages soon.
Who are you?
City Ghost Walk is founded by me, Peter. I have been running the legendary Stockholm Ghost Walk for decades and now want to offer our spine-chilling stories in this self guided format. I sincerely hope you will love it!
